TinyBuddy 2

Internet Not Connecting

Thanks for choosing the TinyBuddy 2!

We’re so glad to have you in the TinyBuddy family 💛

We’re aware that some customers have had trouble connecting their tablet to home Wi-Fi, especially with newer internet setups in Australia and New Zealand.

Good news: The TinyBuddy 2 still works perfectly with mobile hotspots, but if you’re having trouble with your home Wi-Fi, we’ve created a simple step-by-step guide to help you get connected.

What You’ll Need:
A device that’s already connected to your home Wi-Fi — like your iPhone, iPad, Samsung, or Android phone.

Please follow the guide that matches your device:

If you’re using an iPhone or iPad, follow the steps under “TS1 – iPhone/iPad Setup”

If you’re using an Android phone or tablet, follow “TS2 – Android Setup”

❓ Why is this happening?
With the rollout of newer, faster internet in Australia and New Zealand, some home Wi-Fi networks now work a bit differently. This means the TinyBuddy 2 may need a quick one-time setup to connect properly — especially if the router uses the newer format.

❓ Is this hard and how long will this take?

We've made the instructions super simple, just follow them exaclty and the entier process will take around 2 mins.

Don’t worry — once it’s set up, your TinyBuddy will remember your network and connect automatically from then on!
